Wet n wild sponge “puff up” makeup puff what is

Begin with the basics. Puff up “Puff Wet is part of Wild X Sponge Squarepants Limited, Eids line. It’s a powder puff (sometimes described as a velvet powder) designed to take a pressure or take loose powder to put on makeup.

So it’s just more than sweet packaging ,  it’s a task to do.

Why did I decide to try it (my personal journey)

This section is a little less formal, but tolerates me: I always had a weakness for fun packaging. As a child, I deposited everything with a pen, eraser, and comics. Fast forward, and I still agreed to makeup lines with a theme (Spongebob? Yes please).

A few months ago I ran through a pharmacy (yes, I do it for fun), and I saw the performance. PAF grabbed my eye ,  not because of the flash, but the tenderness looked valid. I thought: If it can match the PUFF look and turn my old powder brush when it comes to a smooth finish, I can be affected.

I also wanted something soft. My skin is not sensitive, but around my nose and under the eyes show fine lines, the powder texture jumps out. So a puff that can distribute the powder gently without looking at me dry or cakedar? Great victory.

First impressions: design, texture and feeling

After touching Unboxing and “Puff Up” Puff, these are things that were outside:

Tenderness: At first touch, the velvet surface is luxurious. Think of a kitten stomach (if you like kittens). It’s not a scratch at all.

Size bag: The triangular tip is useful ,  under the eyes, near the nose ,  where the standard round puff or brush sometimes misses or misses it very hard. If you ever struggle to put your inner eye corner, you know what I mean.

Catch / control: There is a band on the back (for a finger) so you can catch it. It provides more control than keeping a whole sponge relaxed. For me, this means that low powder was damaged or pushed into the curl spontaneously.

Size / thickness: It is quite thick, enough, so it feels luxurious, but not so heavy that it is difficult to push in small areas. When moist (some people do with sponge ,  it is for powder, it is moist, not necessary), it maintains very well.

My gut feeling after first use: it is more than just cute ,  it can be one of the collective devices you actually want to reach regularly, not just Instagram Pix.

How does it work in real life: use, combination and stay

Here is the place where rubber meets the road (or meets puff powder). I tested the “Puff Up” puff for several days under different circumstances. I have conclusions here.

Set loose powder vs. Pressed powder

I used both loose setting powder (light, fine) and squeezed compact powder (slightly heavy). With loose powder, it lifts well without causing dust everywhere, and pressing with it ends a natural mat without increasing the pores. The pressed powder requires a little more “press, raoll” action, but the result is good.

Application area

Under the eyes / nose: The triangle tip shines here. After setting me up the minimum fall under my eyes ,  less “laid in fine lines” compared to brush.

The cheeks, forehead: in large areas it is super easy to cover the same because of the size of the puff; You can press the inside and then roll slowly. It provides a soft focus, blurry effects instead of super mats, flat finish.

Stay and long life

The makeup remained for hours. I tried for about 8 to 10 hours. On relatively normal days (not super moist, not super fat), it was well kept ,  less shiny than brush. When I was wearing Foundation + Concealer + Setting Powder + Puff, the powder was not done very intensely; It wasn’t the cake (assuming I knocked on extra before I pressed).

Texture and appearance

My biggest concern was that velvet would promote puff texture. But surprisingly (and happily) the texture didn’t aggravate. The finish looked natural. If anything, then my skin feels smooth ,  maybe because of how the puff presses the powder, instead of whiskey.

Travel / portability

It’s easy, and doesn’t take up much space. After use, it is stored flat in a bag (I hold it in the makeup bag). Washes are good (I want to talk about it in section 7). No strange smell, no throws (so far, after a few sinks).

Professional and opposition

Because nothing is right, right? Here’s a breakdown ,  good, meh and “probably not for you” parts.

Advantages and disadvantages

Sweet design ,  spongebob fun and collectibles. Limited version ,  Sometimes it can be difficult to find / get out of the stock.

Soft velvet finish ,  lux and soft. The intensity of powder needs control, if you press too much, it’s easy to do over.

Triangular shape ,  Better access to tight corners like nose, under the eye. Excessive heat/moisture is not ideal for very oily skin ,  and may require blotting on top.

Re , purposes and washable ,  very durable so far. Cleanliness is taken care of ,  the velvet needs to wash soft, dry air to avoid mold.

Cheap (what is this) budget compared to high end sponge/puffs. The thickness to like some ultra, thick puffs can be very high.

How does it compare other puffs / sponges

Since my kit already has some puffs/sponges, I tested shoulder to shoulder:

Vs. My old velvet puff (non, mark, generic): a soft feeling in the sponge, better edge control with triangle, low decline around the edge. The generic sometimes causes a tow or uneven powder deposit.

Vs. Beautyboards / Sponge Applications: I still prefer flushing for liquid foundation or cream products ,  but to set the powder, the puff wins when it comes to speed, finish, minimal lines for me. Sponge does to absorb more (product waste).

The VS setting brush: Brush is great for brushing extra, lightweight settings or light finishes ,  but puff looks more complete coverage, better pressure and more submerged. Puff Børstebeats where you want a complete setting without brush lines.

So if you decide: This puff cannot replace each tool in your set, but it is a strong addition, especially for powder settings wet n wild spongebob makeup puff – puffed up.

How to clean and take care of it

You want your equipment clean ,  they touch your face, they collect oil, they can destroy skin problems when neglected. Here is how I clean and take care of “puff up” puff ,  and tips from others.

My cleaning routine

After using it for powder sometimes (3, 4 uses), I rinse it under lukewarm water, just to solve the powder.

Then I use a soft soap (my regular facial cleanser) or light baby shampoo. I massage gently with soap, especially where velvet meets the band.

Rinse until the water is almost clean. Don’t fold hard ,  just press the water out.

Press a towel to remove excess water. Then hold it flat on a clean towel, wipe the air completely. Never use heat or dryer. Velvet fibers can be damaged; If salt.

Other care tips

Store in a clean, dry bag so that it does not lift dust or lo.

Do not leave the powder heavy before pressing.

Do not soak or use bleach in rigid detergents ,  you can degrade the velvet surface or color.

If you are used with loose powder, you may use a primer or barrier under the eyes so that the powder is not permanently arranged in lines.

Price, where you can buy and availability

Because it is a limited version, accessibility is an important factor. What I came here (prices may vary by estimated; area / dealer / shipping):

Dealer price / notes

Dimensions ,  “Weight a wild sponge powder ,  Mrs. Puff / Puff Up” ~ US $ 4.99 Online.

Goal

Amazon Canada Puff is listed, described as ultra, soft, etc. The price will depend on the seller.

Heroic

Walmart listed “makeup puff ,  puff up”, details match. Shipping / stock depends on your area.

Walmart. Com

Other retailers / beauty stores online are sometimes visible through the site or third , party dealers of Wet N Wilde. If sold, be careful about the rebuild.

Tip to buy

Look for recovered, especially in collector or beauty scale / redit. People often share tips when limited items are stocked again.

Read the product details carefully, shape, version (“Mrs. Puff” versus just “puff up”) to avoid buying fake.

Shipping costs and obligations can be important when ordering internationally. If you are outside the US/Canada, you can calculate it.

Who is good for and what you want

Best for:

People who use powder setting products (presses or loosely) regularly and soft, even finishing.

Such users who prefer good edge control ,  around the nose, under the eyes, like the edge of the lips ,  like a triangular design.

Theme / funny makeup fans that prefer tools that both look sweet and work well. If the fungus , nostalgia means something, there is a glaze on the cake.

Those who do not want to spend big on a budget, but who still expect decent quality.

Cannot be ideal if:

You have extremely oily skin and live in a very humid climate ,  the powder melts anyway, so you may need more oil control or math tools.

You prefer super , thin puffs or special brushes for light dust instead of full settings.

You dislike innovation or themes; Maybe you want something minimal and ordinary.

Key Takings

  • After all this, here I come down from: Yes, wet n wet spongebob makeup pubs ,  puffed, it’s worth it ,  if what you want is a sweet, effective setting tool that is not done without a soft, even powdered powder finish.
  • It does not replace every tool in your set, but for price, design and performance it turns over the weight. If it is in stock where you are (or you do not want to order), I think it is one of the purchases you will be happy with.
